When was the last time you wished and dreamt for something?

Dati, naguguluhan ako sa dalawang word na yan. Feeling ko parang parehas lang naman!Because they both point to the things that we longed for.

Hinanap ko kay google ang meaning ng dalawang word and I've found out na halos di talaga nagkakalayo ang meaning nilang dalawa kasi parehas lang halos meaning nila talaga! Wish is defined as a desire, longing, or strong inclination for a specific thing. While yung dream naman is a condition or achievement that is longed for; an aspiration.

Last sunday, I went to a joint youth fellowship at Deparo, Caloocan City. It was then when i finally come to a realization of the difference between dreams and wishes. The pastor asked us, "You know the difference between a dream and a wish?", nobody answered so he continued, "You will know it's a wish, if you wish for something and then after sometime you'll eventually forget it and you will know if it is a dream, when you longed for something to become true that even though you want to forget it, this dream will not let you go, it will always hunt you."

Yun pala yun! Ang wish pala, even though at the time you made it, and super serious ka tulad nung huli akong nagwish dahil sabi nung kaibigan ko nahulog daw pilik mata ko, kaya dapat akong magwish.
I seriously wished na sana makagraduate ako ng college, even though na i truly dont believe yung mga ganung practices na porket nahulog ang pilik mata eh may karapatan na kong magwish. Kasi ang totoo naman kahit kalbo na pilik mata mo, pwede pa rin tayong magwish diba :)

But when asked, when was the last time na idreamt for something as in nangarap ako? Before hindi ko talaga masasagot yun ng diretso. Feeling ko kasi ngayon yung mga dreams ko before was wishes lang pala. Kasi eventually nakalimutan ko sila halos and di nila ako ganun hinunt.

Pero im glad kasi according nga isang quote, 'we can always have a brand new start!', kung tatanungin nyo kung sino nagsabi nun, well, hindi ko rin kilala, hanapin niyo na lang kay google, baka meron nga nagsabi. With this quote in mind, alam kong di pa huli ang lahat and i can start dreaming!

The pastor in that fellowship, really encouraged us, the youth especially, na always dream for something. And di lang basta basta dream. Dream something so big na it will took the Hands of God to do it!

Wow! What a dream would that be!
He told us, 'kung mangangarap rin naman kayo, wag niyo nang pangarapin yung mga bagay na kaya niyo namang gawin! Nangarap pa kayo!'.Kung mangangarap daw tayo, pangarapin na naten yung mga bagay na si Lord lang makakagawa para sa aten.

After that fellowship, maniwala kayo sa hindi, nagumpisa na kong mangarap. And my dream is .... secret. Basta marami sya.

And syempre the important thing is, hindi tayo hanggang pangarap lang! We also ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking and knock and keep on knocking God about these dreams of ours.


And of course samahan naten ng action kasi faith without action is dead! Why do we act? sabi ko earlier diba na yung pangarap naten tipong si Lord lang makakagawa, siguro tinatanong mo ko, why ACT eh si Lord nga lang makakatupad nung pangarap ko? Do you remember the miracle na pinakain ni Jesus yung 5000 na katao? Before that miracle took place, the disciples did something na masasabi nateng ACTION nila before yung miracle and that is they offered Jesus what's in their hands - the five loaves and two fishes. Then after, that great miracle happened - JESUS super multiplied what the disciples gave! :)

Pero of course pag hindi niloob ni Lord matupad dreams naten wag naman tayong magtampo kasi unang-una if it against His will. Kasi yung pala dinidream mo ay maghari ng buong universe, eh syempre naku naman, masamang pangarap na yun. Kaya automatic alam na naten answer sa dream mo na yun isang malaking No.
We should always be open and sensitive for God's answer kasi yun naman ang always best.
but.

'Never stop dreaming'.
